This year we have have had lots of fun not just being estate agents but getting involved in charity fundraising for various causes.
We have met some great people along the way and heard inspiring stories a plenty which have made us even more determined to support these worthy causes in 2016. The people who benefit these charities and support them by working for them really sum up the meaning of this time of year.
The bar was set high when Tara started us off by jumping out of a plane for Overgate hospice, she is known for being an adrenaline junkie so we wonder what she will come up with next
We then ran Leeds 10k for Forget me not children's hospice in the summer, Paul even had a dodgy knee to contend with. We have just signed up to do it all again next year.
Eleanor then did the gruelling man vs mountain challenge, a 20 mile run up and down Snowdon raising money for Rio, an Almondbury boy with cerebral palsy who needs support to fund his schooling, and other care.
We baked not once but twice firstly for a great Yorkshire day tea party with a super raffle too, well supported by local businesses by attendance and prizes. We have just done it all again in December with Tea and cake for Forget me not. The standard of cake was pretty impressive!
We have sold cards and calendars, we have attended quizzes, done raffles, and Paul has even been a travelling salesman to ensure we sold as much as possible to help raise even more for Forget me Not. We are not too far of £5000 raised in 6 months for them.
We are already thinking about what we want to be involved with next year, and rallying the staff to get involved again.
Back to the selling homes part of our business as that's the bit that pays the bills and makes our clients happy.
Here are some impressive stats for 2015
