Our history

Established and locally owned since 1958, we have grown from being a sole practitioner single office to having 5 high street offices employing over 80 people. We are obviously doing something right as during this period we have seen many estate agencies come and go in this time.

Our people

Having a valuation team including 14 professionally qualified valuers including RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), NAEA (National Association of Estate Agents) and ARLA (Association of Rental & Letting Agencies) our valuation team are the best there is, we might be biased but pop in and have a chat with them and you will see what we mean.

Our experience

A large proportion of our staff are loyal, long-serving property professionals that have sold virtually a property on every road within Kirklees and Calderdale. Over 50% of our staff have in excess of 15 years' experience in the property market and many have been with Bramleys in excess of 20 years.

This means our combined years of experience in the property is bordering on ridiculous! But why wouldn't you want people that know what they are doing when they deal with your biggest asset? Maximising sales reach and value is what we do, we don't get paid until the end, unlike the internet agents who want money up front.

We have long standing relationships with solicitors who carry out the legal side of selling and understand the legal process and how to progress the sale to completion, a service that you won't find with your cut price internet agents.

Our services

We come out and provide you with a professional valuation based on evidence and will not give you an overinflated figure to try and persuade you to use our services. We carry out your viewings if you wish, provide access to our extensive database of buyers and lots more besides. We are literally an all-round one-stop property shop.

We do auctions of land, property and furniture, house clearances, lettings, mortgages, basically anything to do with buying, selling or renting a property whether it be a house or commercial premises.

Brand awareness

Being part of the local high street for over 50 years, everyone knows Bramleys within our area. We are involved in many community initiatives and support many local charities and sports clubs providing additional exposure within the local area. How does this relate to sales? People buy from people and trust is an important aspect of any transaction, especially one of such high value. People like the security of buying from a well-known brand.

Our marketing

We are by far and away the most prominent estate agent locally, marketing through multiple channels including our very own successful social media feeds. We continue to use local newspapers, our own website, national websites including Rightmove and OnTheMarket and through our high street branch network and the many hundreds of buyers already registered with us looking for your home. By marketing through Bramleys your home will definitely get seen.
