Property auction sales have become much more popular and accepted in recent years and are now seen as a quick and straight forward method of either buying or selling property that would normally be considered problem properties.
Building land, agricultural land, ground rents, tenanted and vacant residential properties, together with industrial and commercial properties are all sold regularly at public auction.
Buying and selling at public auction does eliminate problems such as "gazumping", renegotiation of previously agreed purchase price and property chains.
