A long weekend is a beautiful thing, well any weekend in Yorkshire can be with such lovely things to see and do.
So what do the Bramleys team like to do when they're enjoying their time off away from all things property?
Fran, Associate partner based in Halifax says you can't beat a good walk in the Yorkshire countryside at the weekend to blow the cobwebs away. One of his favourite haunts is the award winning and ever changing Yorkshire Sculpture Park for fresh air and a little thought provoking culture!
Emma in Sales likes to start the weekend off with breakfast at the fantastic Bolster Moor Farm Shop, she says there is nothing in the world like a proper cooked Yorkshire breakfast and it stops her from eating Chocolate all day!
Helen, our partner overseeing Lettings likes to get out into Hemsley in North Yorkshire for the scenery and to catch up with friends and family. The Lettings department is always so busy so its good to have a little time to relax and many of the Bramleys team have been studying hard for further Lettings and Sales qualifications so will be glad of a few days off.
Theresa in the commercial department is a bank holiday weekend traditionalist, you will find her in the DIY stores!
"B & Q is a definite for me where I load my trolley with DIY tools for my painting and decorating projects and then pop in a few garden plants and lights so I can sit back and enjoy with a glass or two of wine after all my hard work"
Lets hope the weather behaves for Theresa to get her wish!
Sam in Lettings says "My favourite thing to do at the weekend is to pamper myself at my local salon Creative Beauty in Stainland or visit family in Stoke. In reality though I may just end up cleaning the house in my Pj's".
I think we can all relate to that!
Emily couldn't decide which she loved more "T & Cake" in Almondbury or the Carding Shed & Old Oil Can cafe in Hepworth.
T & Cake grow their own produce and the food is delicious and The Oil Can in her words - "is the quirkiest little spot ever, the cafe is set amongst vintage cars, all the waitresses are wearing sweet vintage dresses and pinafores from the 50s/60s ) they host dance lessons, motown and soul nights, jazz, blues and rock - it is just fab!
So whatever you like to do in Yorkshire at the weekend, we all wish you a fantastic time!
